Position Overview:
As an Orchard Fruit Picker at Hortinvest, you will play a crucial role in our harvest team, contributing to the gathering of high-quality fruits from our orchards. Additionally, we have opportunities available in our packhouse for those who prefer working indoors. Responsibilities:
Harvesting and picking a variety of fruits with precision and care
Sorting and packing harvested fruits in accordance with quality standards
Following safety guidelines for a secure working environment
Collaborating with team members to achieve daily production targets
Reporting any issues or concerns to the Orchard Supervisor
Qualifications:
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Physical fitness and stamina for extended periods of standing and repetitive tasks
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Previous experience in fruit picking or agriculture is a plus but not required
Schedule:
The position is seasonal, and working hours may vary based on the harvest's needs. Flexibility is crucial, and availability to work weekends and extended hours during peak harvest times is expected.
