Job Description:

BOP Horticulture Services is seeking a Tractor Driver to join our team in the Bay of Plenty region. This position requires a minimum of 30 hours per week, with the possibility of working up to 40 hours. As a Tractor Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating tractors and other farm vehicles to perform various tasks in horticulture operations. If you have a valid Class 1 driver's license and experience in tractor driving, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Operate tractors, vans, and farm implements efficiently and safely

  • Perform inspections and maintenance of tractors and attachments

  • Transport materials and operate horticultural equipment

  • Follow designated routes and schedules for deliveries

  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and standards

  • Report any faults or concerns to the Farm Manager

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas

  • Complete required logs, reports, and job sheets

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license or an international equivalent

  • Experience in driving tractors and farm vehicles

  • Good knowledge of horticulture practices and equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions

  • Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
