Caretaker - Muriwai, New Zealand

Parihoa Farm is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Caretaker to join our team. As a Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our grounds, ensuring a safe and well-presented environment for our guests. If you have experience in caretaking, gardening, and maintenance, we want to hear from you!

Position: Caretaker

Location: Parihoa Farm, Muriwai, Auckland

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily checks of buildings and grounds

• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks

• Maintain and clean the pool

• Mow lawns, weed eat, spray weeds, and trim hedges

• Clean outdoor areas and building exteriors

• Manage waste and maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment

• Respond to calls outside of working hours

• Plan, care for, and maintain gardens in a coastal environment

Qualities:

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

• Adaptable, reliable, and responsive

• Basic building maintenance or home handyman skills preferred

• Physical fitness and strength for various tasks

• Strong attention to detail

Remuneration:

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday

• Salary-based remuneration

• Start date: Monday, 10th June

Requirements:

• Full New Zealand driver's license

• Experience in a similar or relatable role
