Gilgai Farm Pty Ltd, located in Nagambie, is seeking a dedicated and physically fit Farm Maintenance Team Member to join our close-knit team. We are passionate about maintaining our farm's natural beauty and productivity, and we need a reliable individual to help us in our mission.
Job Description:
As a Farm Maintenance Team Member, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Cutting grass and maintaining lawn areas.
Managing weed control and leaf raking to preserve the farm's pristine appearance.
Planting trees and plants to enhance the farm's landscape.
Operating hand tools and basic light machinery for various maintenance tasks.
Competently servicing and maintaining small garden equipment and machinery.
Experience in maintaining stock fencing is considered an advantage.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Weekend work may be required based on farm needs.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform labor-intensive tasks.
Experience with basic garden equipment and machinery.
Knowledge of maintenance and repair of garden equipment.
Familiarity with stock fencing (preferred but not required).
